Connecticut’s Norwalk Hospital Adds Pediatric Subspecialty Center

Norwalk (Conn.) Hospital has opened its Pediatric Subspecialty Center, which the hospitals hopes will bring high-quality specialty care to children and their families in the region, according to a report in NorwalkPlus.

The center brings together pediatric cardiologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists and other specialists, according to the report. Infectious disease specialists are also available through Norwalk Community Hospital.

The center is located on the third floor of Norwalk Hospital and was created through a partnership with Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. Physicians are available for inpatient consultations at the hospital as well, according to the report.
