Chicago Hospital Names AIDS Physician as New CEO

Roberta Luskin-Hawk, MD is the new CEO of Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, part of Resurrection Health Care, according to a release from Resurrection Health Care.

She succeeds Ronald E. Struxness, who will focus on his duties as a group vice president for Resurrection Health, a Catholic system based in Chicago.

Dr. Luskin-Hawk is an infectious disease specialist and an AIDS/HIV patient advocate who co-founded one of Chicago’s first inpatient HIV units at Saint Joseph in 1987.
