Cherokee Indian Hospital in North Carolina Plans New Facility

Cherokee (N.C.) Indian Hospital is planning to build a new facility to solve its capacity issues, according to a Smoky Mountain News report.

The 141,000-square-foot, three-story facility could take anywhere from 36 to 60 months to complete once the blueprints are finalized. The project is expected to cost around $50 to $60 million.

The hospital is still making decisions regarding the health services it will offer and how much space each department will need, according to the report.
