Mr. Adams joined Ardent in 2003 and was promoted to chief accounting officer in 2006. In 2011, Mr. Adams became Ardent’s CFO and now oversees all financial aspects of the 13-hospital system. Currently, Ardent owns Lovelace Health System, a six-hospital system in Albuquerque, N.M., and Hillcrest HealthCare System, a seven-hospital organization in Tulsa, Okla.
Prior to his stint at Ardent, Mr. Adams was a senior audit manager at Ernst & Young focusing on several publicly traded healthcare and technology companies. He also served as a staff accountant at Deloitte and was a controller at PathGroup, a pathology services provider based in Brentwood, Tenn.
