Carl Armato. President and CEO of Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.). Since Mr. Armato joined Novant Health in 1998 as vice president of finance and operations for the physician divisions, he has climbed the ladder, serving in various positions such as president of Novant Health markets, COO and finally president and CEO starting in January 2012. He is a certified public accountant and a member of several professional organizations for CPAs. Mr. Armato, who earned an MBA from Norwich University of Vermont, has served on several boards, including the Mecklenburg Citizens for Public Education.
