Bon Secours to Open Free-Standing Emergency Center in Virginia

Bon Secours Richmond (Va.) will open a free-standing emergency department tomorrow, according to a Times Dispatch report.

The new facility will house 16 patient rooms and the same services as a hospital-based emergency department, according to the report. It is located four-and-a-half miles from Bon Secours’ St. Francis Medical Center, which has emergency room utilization near capacity.
