Blythedale Children’s Hospital Opens $65M Inpatient Facility

Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, N.Y., will soon open a new, $65 million inpatient building, the first addition to the hospital in 40 years, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new facility was held yesterday. The building features a 46-bed intensive care unit, a dedicated unit to care for patients with brain injuries, larger rooms and wireless patient monitoring systems, according to the report.
