Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston has named Stephen B. Kay as its new chairman of the board of directors, according to a report by the Boston Globe.
Mr. Kay replaces Lois E. Silverman, who resigned from the position after four years.
Mr. Kay is a senior director at Goldman Sachs and previously served as the chairman of the board at Beth Israel and at CareGroup Health Systems, the parent company of the hospital.
