Here are three things to know about the meeting.
1. The Democratic committees of Augusta County, Waynesboro and Staunton are jointly calling the forum to address Augusta Health’s in-network contract with Anthem, which expired Dec. 31. Another contract with Anthem and Augusta Health’s physicians expired Jan. 31.
2. The committees’ program will allow Augusta Health executives to provide insights on the status of its relationship with Anthem, as well as other hospital updates, the News Leader reports.
3. Anthem declined its invitation to the meeting, which will be held Feb. 13 in Staunton, Va.
