Arkansas Hospital CEO to Chair AHA’s Small or Rural Hospitals Section

Robin Lake, president and CEO of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Ark., will chair the governing council of the Section for Small or Rural Hospitals of the American Hospital Association, according to a release by the AHA.

Mr. Lake recently became CEO of the 175-bed medical center, having served as CEO of 60-bed Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, Okla.

Mark Doak, CEO of Davis Health System in Elkins, W.Va., is the 2011 chair-elect and Edward J. Hannon, CEO of The McDowell Hospital in Marion, N.C., is immediate past chair.
