The ad will run on broadcast and cable television networks through Nov. 20. The ads feature patients of all ages and include a voice over saying, “when you see your doctor, you don’t face any medical issue alone. You do it together.”

AMA President Peter W. Carmel, MD, said of the campaign, “For 160 years, the AMA has been the guardian of the patient-physician relationship; the preservation of this partnership drives everything we do as an organization.”
