Alegeus, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts partner for consumer directed health plans

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts will use Waltham, Mass.-based Alegeus’ platform to assist its members in consumer directed health plans.

Through the partnership, BCBS of Massachusetts members will be able to better manage and maximize their healthcare funds.

Alegeus, a 450-client leader in consumer directed healthcare solutions, offers consumers a comprehensive platform for healthcare benefit account administration, as well as a benefit debit card.

“The Alegeus partnership will enable us to support the increased consumer financial responsibility in the new healthcare economy,” said BCBS of Massachusetts Senior Vice President Matt Connell, according to the press release.
