Alabama Medical Center Names Interim CEO

Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala., has named Keith Granger as its interim CEO, according to a report by the Birmingham Business Journal.

Mr. Granger currently serves as CEO of Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala.

Mr. Granger replaces current CEO Bill Heburn who was reassigned to the position of chief development officer to oversee the hospital’s relocation efforts.

Trinity is planning to relocate to a new 1 million-square-foot facility, but must first gain state approval. The move is opposed by St. Vincent’s Health System and Brookwood Medical Center, both in Birmingham.
