Aetna expands home care network: 4 things to know

Aetna expanded its home care network through a partnership with CareLinx, a national network with more than 300,000 nonclinical caregivers.

Four things to know:

1. The expanded care network was made available to select Aetna individual Medicare Advantage members in 2019.

2. The partnership involves members in six states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey and Washington.

3. Seniors can find, hire and schedule in-home care visits online or through a downloadable app. 

4. Some members can receive a certain amount of hours at no extra cost, while some can get a discount off the service fee if they need more hours.
