The future campus will include a 100-bed hospital, nursing home, medical office buildings for physicians, outpatient medical services and a day care center.
It will be located near two existing hospitals — Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and Frederick Memorial hospital — but representatives from the healthcare system state the new campus will have minimal impact on those facilities, pointing to the region’s rapid population growth, according to a press release from Adventist HealthCare.
The hospital’s completion, if it receives a Certificate of Need and other necessary approvals, will take about five years.
