Walgreens app expands telehealth offerings for COVID-19 care: 4 things to know 

Walgreens added new telehealth providers and a COVID-19 risk assessment tool to its Find Care platform to help coordinate care for patients during the pandemic.

Four things to know: 

1. Patients can now use the mobile app to connect with more than 30 providers for virtual visits. 

2. New collaborations on the app include Springfield, Ill.-based HSHS Medical Group, Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care, Charlotte, N.C.-based Novant Health and Amwell. 

3. Walgreens Find Care is expanding its offerings with Renton, Wash.-based Providence, Village Medical and Heal. 

4. Walgreens Find Care’s new COVID-19 risk assessment tool is powered by the Microsoft Healthcare Bot, a chatbot that uses artificial intelligence to screen patients’ symptoms for COVID-19 based on CDC guidelines.
