Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare selected SOC Telemed as its exclusive telemedicine provider.
With 45 hospitals across 14 U.S. states, Prime Healthcare will use SOC Telemed's platform Telemed IQ to support its clinical care and workflow standardization efforts.
"This selection enables Prime [Healthcare] to achieve system-level control and visibility over its telemedicine initiatives — standardizing workflows, care and reporting capabilities using Telemed IQ's fully customizable offerings," SOC Telemed President and CEO Hammad Shah said in a news release.
More than 500 hospitals nationwide have implemented Telemed IQ, and SOC Telemed was the first acute clinical telemedicine services provider to earn The Joint Commission’s gold seal of approval, according to the news release.
