The Sunrise, Fla.-based telehealth company said it will provide online counseling services to “all individuals directly impacted by the Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy,” including victims of the shooting and their families, at no cost.
Behavioral health counselors will be able to work with affected individuals to address symptoms such as nightmares, changes in sleep patterns, depressed mood and social isolation.
To access the free video or phone service, a patient may call MDLive’s dedicated hotline and provide the code “MDLIVECARES.”
