Florida hospital unveils telehealth app as part of rebranding

Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Fla., is including new telehealth options for patients as part of a recent rebranding strategy, local news outlet News4Jax reports.

Flagler is rebranding to Flagler Health+ to reflect its shifting focus from a hospital-centric model to one focused on the physical, social and economic health of communities. As part of this shift, the hospital will offer patients virtual urgent care visits online and in its mobile app, according to the report.

Under the new initiative, the hospital is also launching several "health villages," which offer urgent care, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, lab services, primary care, outdoor green space and at one location, a YMCA.
