Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock is now providing telemedicine intensive care unit services to patients at Littleton (N.H.) Regional Healthcare, according to a Dec. 10 news release.
D-H TeleICU intensivists are collaborating with LRH bedside clinicians to provide real-time care, support and clinical consultations 24/7 to LRH patients. The clinicians use two-way, interactive audiovisual technology to communicate.
Through the telemedicine partnership, LRH patients can receive ICU care without needing to travel to a Dartmouth-Hitchcock hospital. The collaboration builds upon the healthcare organizations' previous partnership, which they formed in August to provide critical care neonatal services to LRH patients through telemedicine.
