Avizia joined forces with VeeMed, bringing together the former's telehealth platform and the latter's provider services for high-acuity cases, such as neurology, behavioral health and intensive care.
Via the collaboration, Avizia plans to offer healthcare organizations a full suite of telehealth tools, technology and clinical expertise for virtual consultations in the high-acuity care space. For example, Avizia's telestroke technology, includes a far-end camera control,picture archiving abilities and communication systems, aims to enable VeeMed neurologists to treat stroke patients more quickly and accurately.
