Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, Ga., part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System, launched telemetry monitoring services in partnership with Advanced ICU Care.
The launch expands Adventist Health System and Advanced ICU Care's existing tele-ICU relationship, which spans several states.
The telemetry services include 24/7 monitoring by certified telemetry technicians. At-risk cardiac patients at Gordon Hospital will now be remotely monitored by telemetry technicians, who can identify complications and alert onsite care teams in real time.
"Partnering with Advanced ICU Care to efficiently provide 24/7 remote monitoring of our at-risk cardiac patients was a natural extension of our tele-ICU relationship in which we utilize a consistent and collaborative approach to provide outstanding care to our higher-acuity patients via telemedicine," said Jean Turcotte, system director of patient care operations at Adventist.
