5 health systems expand care at home with Best Buy

Best Buy has continued to grow its care-at-home partnerships with big health systems.

Here are five collaborations Best Buy Health touted in a Jan. 17 year-end report:

Mass General Brigham (Somerville, Mass.): Expanded patient eligibility to postsurgical and postpartum.

Sarah Cannon Cancer Network (Nashville, Tenn.): Explored how remote patient monitoring could boost clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction while reducing hospital lengths of stay for oncology patients, specifically those receiving chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy.

UC Davis Health (Sacramento, Calif.): Launched care at home for patients with high blood pressure.

UMass Memorial Health (Worcester, Mass.): Also broadened eligibility to postsurgical and postpartum patients.

Virtua Health (Marlton, N.J.): Grew the Care after Discharge program, allowing patients to go home from the hospital faster with remote patient monitoring, and found that a hospital-at-home program yields shorter lengths of stay for all patients, not just those cared for at home.
