Gartner released is ninth annual Healthcare Supply Chain Top 25 rankings Nov. 16.
The list recognizes 25 health systems or healthcare companies for their efforts to improve human lives at sustainable costs.
Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare earned the top spot on the 2017 list for the second year in a row. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic moved up one spot to No. 2 this year. The health system represents one of the most consistent performers on the list, ranking among the top five organizations for the past seven years.
