Emergency Ebola test, new COPD treatment & more: 4 latest FDA approvals

Here are four drugs or medical devices that have been approved by the FDA since Nov. 9:

1. The FDA approved emergency use of an Ebola rapid antigen fingerstick test for detecting Ebola amid the Democratic Republic of Congo's current Ebola outbreak.

2. Keytruda, manufactured by Merck, won approval for the treatment of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, the most common form of liver cancer.

3. Revefenacin, marketed as Yupelri, is a once-daily, long-acting muscarinic antagonist for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

4. Medical devicemaker Lumendi secured FDA approval for its DiLumen EIP device modification to help improve tissue retraction during an endoscopy.
