Drchrono — a provider of iPhone-based EMR, practice management and healthcare application programming interface platforms — partnered with the medical inventory management provider FlexScanMD, the companies announced Dec. 14.
The goal of the partnership is to streamline medication and product inventory tracking.
Under the agreement, FlexScanMD will integrate its cloud-based inventory management software into drchrono's EHR and practice management platforms to ensure any medication or product charges appear in both the FlexScanMD and drchrono solutions.
"This partnership will create a seamless and unified workflow that will help make practices more profitable and through error reduction, improve patient outcomes," said Aaron Gerber, director of business development at FlexScanMD.
