A Canadian medical devicemaker is opening a new, $84 million production plant in Buffalo, N.Y., according to The Buffalo News.
Nova Scotia-based Thinking Robot Studios' new facility will focus on making devices such as orthopedic implants and systems for bone and joint reconstruction.
The facility is expected to create 88 jobs.
Construction on the facility is set to begin in October. It is expected to open next fall.
