Here are the six latest drugs and medical devices approved by the Food and Drug Administration since March 5.

1. Medtronic's Reveal LINQ Insertable Cardiac Monitor is inserted in the upper left side of the chest during a minimally invasive procedure and can monitor a patient's heartbeat for up to three years.

2. Keytruda can now be used to treat patients with refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma.

3. Kisqali is an oral drug that serves as a first-line treatment for post menopausal women with breast cancer when used in combination with letrozole, another type of breast cancer drug.

4. The Hospital Wearable Defibrillator is worn by patients at risk of ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation during their hospital stays to monitor for irregular heart rhythms.

5. Noctiva is a nasal spray intended to treat adults who frequently wake up at night to urinate.

6. The Vidas Brahms PCT Assay can now be used to help clinicians make antibiotic treatment decisions for patients with sepsis or lower respiratory tract infections.
