Here are the five latest drugs or medical devices approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

1. Salutaris Medical Devices developed a Radionuclide Brachytherapy Source tool for episcleral brachytherapy — the treatment of a specific type of eye cancer.

2. Rubraca is an ovarian cancer drug for women with a BRCA gene mutation who have already been treated with two or more chemotherapies.

3. Eucrisa is intended to treat mild to moderate cases of eczema.

4. Cepheid's Xpert MRSA NxG test can detect methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus in about one hour.

5. The AeroForm tissue expander system is used to stretch out breast tissue in preparation for a two-stage breast reconstruction following a mastectomy.
