CHI rebrands select KentuckyOne Health facilities

Alyssa Rege -

Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health and its parent company revealed plans Jan. 22 to rebrand its facilities in the eastern and western parts of the state.

The facilities will be rebranded CHI Saint Joseph Health. Officials said the goal of the rebrand is to unify the organization under a single strategic vision heralded by the facilities' parent company, Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives.

The rebrand also includes a new logo to represent CHI Saint Joseph's ministry and mission.

"The Saint Joseph name is one of heritage and excellence. Our facilities' reputations are built on quality care for all patients and leading-edge technology, and we are excited to continue this legacy and look to the future under this new name," Bruce Tassin, CEO and market leader for CHI Saint Joseph Health and president of Lexington-based Saint Joseph Hospital, said in a statement.

KentuckyOne Health announced plans in 2017 to sell its facilities in Louisville. Officials are still negotiating their sale.
