Renaisa S. Anthony, MD. Deputy Director of the Center for Reducing Health Disparities at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (Omaha). Dr. Anthony is a practicing physician and public health practitioner in addition to her role as the deputy director of the Center for Reducing Health Disparities at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She focuses on equalizing the health disparities between patient populations, especially in depressed communities. Dr. Anthony testified before Congress in support of the ACA and received honors from former U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy. She is an assistant professor in the department of health promotion at the University of Nebraska's College of Public Health. The National Minority Quality Forum recognized Dr. Anthony with the 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health Award for 2017.
