Private medical schools charged an average of $55,000 in tuition for the 2017-18 academic year, with the 10 most expensive schools charging an average of more than $60,000 in tuition, according to U.S. News & World Report.
Looking at annual survey data submitted by 52 ranked private U.S. medical schools, U.S. News determined the median tuition fee amounted to $63,350. Seven of the top private institutions also ranked among the publication's best medical schools for research or primary care.
Here are the top 10 most expensive private medical schools in the U.S., according to U.S. News. Unranked schools were not considered for the list.
