The World Health Organization posted a video to YouTube Oct. 6, offering patients and prescribers tips for improved medication safety.
The video, called "Medication Without Harm," is part of a larger WHO campaign aimed at reducing medication errors around the globe.
The video advises patients and providers to know the medication, check that it's being used appropriately and ask patients if they understand usage guidelines. The video also encourages patients to ask about proper medication use if they're unsure.
