Which 10 states have the highest percentage of Leapfrog A hospitals?

Staff -

The Leapfrog Group released its spring 2016 Hospital Safety Scores Monday, and 798 hospitals earned a coveted A grade from the watchdog organization.

Leapfrog assigns A through F letter grades to more than 2,500 U.S. hospitals each spring and fall. The peer-reviewed grades are calculated by patient safety experts and are based on patient safety, infection and patient experience scores.

In fall 2015, Maine had the highest percentage of A hospitals of any state, but the state was dethroned this spring by its New England neighbor, Vermont.
