The Rhode Island Quality Institute wants to reduce 30-day readmissions with InterSystems HealthShare Software, according to a recent blog post.
The software RIQI is using, CurrentCare, is based on InterSystems' HealthShare. RIQI will be collecting statewide information on high-risk patients, close communication and real-time information in order to acheive this goal.
The software will help RIQI aggregate all the data in order to make well-informed decisions.
RIQI has already seen reductions in the double-digits for the 30-day readmission rate.
