Physician-Patient Alliance for Health & Safety Introduces Patient Safety Podcast

The Physician-Patient Alliance for Health & Safety has introduced the PPAHS Patient Safety Podcast, an ongoing series of online discussions focusing on patient safety issues in the United States.

The podcast will focus on opioid safety, venous thromboembolism and alarm management as well as provide interviews with thought leaders, researchers, patients and healthcare professionals.

The first podcast featured Sharon Butler, MSN, RN, clinical nurse IV, perioperative services, Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, Calif.
