Police are investigating the death of an elderly man who died after getting into a fight with another patient at a long-term care facility in Florida, reports News4Jax.

The 71-year-old man died last week after an altercation with an 84-year-old man at St. Augustine (Fla.) Health and Rehabilitation Center.

The 71-year-old man was taken to a hospital in Jacksonville, Fla., and died several days after the fight.

Police said an autopsy report is still pending to determine whether the man died from injuries related to the fight or preexisting health conditions.
