Researchers conducted an online survey that included responses from nurses worldwide. It was distributed via Facebook from Aug. 13, 2018, to Nov. 17, 2018. The survey includes responses from 461 clinicians in 53 countries.
The survey indicated that addiction to social networking sites can negatively affect nurses’ work performance. Distraction from tasks further detracts from performance.
