NPSF, International Society for Quality in Healthcare partner to promote patient safety certification

The National Patient Safety Foundation and the International Society for Quality in Healthcare have partnered to jointly promote certification for patient safety professionals.

The partnership will allow past and current participants of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare Fellowship Programme to pursue the certified professional in patient safety credential. The NPSF will offer the international fellows reduced costs for self-assessment tests and review courses when preparing for the CPPS certification exam. More than 1,500 health professionals across the United States have achieved the certification.

The International Society for Quality in Healthcare's programs are offered to health professionals in 100 countries across six continents. In particular, the fellowship program has included 500 individuals from 60 countries.
