Journal Study Suggests Joint Commission-Accredited Hospitals Outperform Nonaccredited Hospitals

A new study published in the Journal of Hospital Medicine showed hospitals accredited by The Joint Commission from 2004-2008 outperformed non-accredited hospitals on nationally standardized quality measures.
