Johns Hopkins researchers in Baltimore have created an online dashboard to help track the spread of the coronavirus outbreak worldwide.

The dashboard displays statistics about deaths and confirmed cases of 2019-nCoV, a new strain of coronavirus, on a world map. The statistics are being collected from several different sources, including the World Health Organization, CDC and the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China.

It is also collecting data from Dingxiangyuan a Chinese social networking site for healthcare professionals. Users can download data from the dashboard for free.

So far there have been 2,886 confirmed cases and 81 deaths related to the 2019-nCoV, which originated in Wuhan, China. The U.S. has confirmed five cases.
