Four Medications Account for Majority of Elderly Emergency Hospitalizations

Warfarin, insulin, antiplatelet drugs and diabetes medications that are taken by mouth accounted for two-thirds of emergency hospitalizations for elderly patients, according to research by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
