The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality is recruiting hospitals for a project to improve care and recovery in gynecology, colorectal, hip fracture and joint replacement surgery services.

Hospitals can enroll in a free, 12-month program funded and guided by the AHRQ. Enrollment is open for the program that begins March 1. Informational webinars for hospitals interested in joining start Oct. 29 and run through Dec. 13.

Participating hospitals will receive evidence-based enhanced recovery pathways, input from experts in the field, implementation resources, access to the American College of Surgeons' data collection platform and benchmark reports.

The Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality and the American College of Surgeons are leading the program.
