Over the last week, seven-day COVID-19 case averages have risen in 27 states, flattened in four and dropped in 19, according to data tracked by Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center.

The following data, which includes Washington, D.C., was last updated Jan. 18. New cases are measured per 100,000 people.
