New daily COVID-19 cases in the U.S. have risen 198 percent over the last two weeks, with every state seeing cases trend upward, according to data tracked by The New York Times.

Below are 10 states with the highest 14-day increase. Data is taken from state and local health agencies and was last updated July 20.  

Tennessee

14-day change: 578 percent increase

Cases per 100,000: 9  

Alabama 

14-day change: 574 percent increase

Cases per 100,000: 17  

Massachusetts

14-day change: 472 percent increase

Cases per 100,000: 4  

Vermont

14-day change: 429 percent increase

Cases per 100,000: 2   

North Carolina

14-day change: 425 percent increase

Cases per 100,000: 9  

Alaska

14-day change: 413 percent increase

Cases per 100,000: 19  

Oklahoma

14-day change: 387 percent increase

Cases per 100,000: 17

Connecticut

14-day change: 386 percent increase    

Cases per 100,000: 4

Louisiana

14-day change: 376 percent increase  

Cases per 100,000: 31

Mississippi 

14-day change: 308 percent increase   

Cases per 100,000: 21
