2nd Legionnaires' case under investigation in Ohio county

A nursing home resident from Parma, Ohio-based Broadview Multi-Care Center has been diagnosed with Legionnaires' disease, marking Cuyahoga County's second confirmed case this week, according to Cleveland.com.

The resident had pulmonary symptoms before being admitted to the facility, according to Christine Martin, director of strategic marketing for Legacy Health Services, which operates the short-term senior rehab center.

Broadview has shut down its water system while officials investigate the source of the bacteria.

County officials are also investigating a Legionnaires' case connected to a Strongsville, Ohio based-senior living facility. Officials have not found any evidence of a link between the two cases.
