Ohio health officials reported a case of Legionnaires' disease at Continuing Healthcare of Mentor Nov. 18.
The source of the disease is still unknown, Mark Morley, the facility's vice president of operations, told local news source Fox 8. He added that the sickened resident had also recently sought treatment in other healthcare settings.
Continuing Healthcare of Mentor is following appropriate policies for the situation, Mr. Morley said.
The patient is in stable condition, and no others are showing signs of the illness.
