Former Merck, Eli Lilly leader moves to Moderna

Chantal Friebertshäuser, a former executive at Merck and Eli Lilly, will join Moderna as the senior vice president of commercial, Europe, Middle East and Canada, effective Jan. 1.

Ms. Friebertshäuser worked in marketing and sales at Eli Lilly for nearly 10 years before moving to Merck in 2012, according to her LinkedIn profile. Most recently, she acted as Merck’s Germany managing director and human health senior vice president.
