CVS said it will operate 99 of the pharmacies and brand them as CVS and close the remaining 11. The company added that it will acquire the prescription files from the 11 pharmacies that will close and transfer them to nearby CVS Pharmacy locations.

CVS also said it will interview all Schnucks employees who apply for pharmacy positions in the rebranded pharmacies.

The deal is expected to close by the end of the second quarter.
