CVS Caremark to close Nashville call center, affecting 250 jobs

CVS Caremark, the pharmacy benefits unit of CVS Health, will shut down a Nashville call center May 3, affecting 250 workers, according to the Nashville Business Journal.

Some of the affected employees will be eligible to to continue their employment from home, while others will be eligible for severance. Employees will also have the option to apply for other open CVS Health positions.

"The company is making this difficult but necessary decision in order to better integrate and manage CVS Caremark's call center operations," CVS told the Nashville Business Journal.
